LA RESERVA Coffee Growers Collective is an area of influence of small coffee growers Colombia located in the south of the department of Huila, Salado Blanco, Palestine, Acevedo, San Agustin and Pitalito.
Huila's economy is mostly based on agriculture, including 18,649 hectares cultivated with coffee, mostly planted in the south of Huila with Pitalito as the largest producer of coffee in the region.
Its main production months are between June and July, the coffee planting season from October till November and December the Maximum peak. The region is greatly influenced by this precious product which draws families and communities to its surroundings, expending more and more in coffee culture, coffee tourism and generating new tasters, baristas and people who focus on coffee as a focus of growth.
Many of us depend on the land and working in the coffee production for our livelihood.
